    Game Ideas

The great thing about the FRITZO game system is that you have plenty of leeway to put your imagination to work and come up with game ideas of your own. In addition to the game variants in our Rules of the Game instructions, we’ve included a few more ideas here.

If you have constructed an original formation with the cubes or invented your own variant of the game or developed your own ‘house rules’, we’ll reward your efforts with a prize of EUR 50.-

    FRITZO STRATEGIE CUBE/MIX

Goal: The 2 players build a Fritzo Cube formation with 27 cubes. With their own TWO different cube colors, each player places their cubes so that as many of their own cube colors as possible are visible on the outside faces of the formation.

Getting ready to play: All 27 cubes remain unseen in the bag, and each of the 2 players in turn draws a cube from the bag. Except for the last move in the game, each player can place 2 cubes one after the other. The younger player starts by placing two cubes.

Rules for placing cubes: FRITZO CHALLENGES

Distinguishing feature of this variant: A player who cannot place a cube with the same color symbols can place their cube in accordance with the BEGINNER rules.

Important note: A FRITZO CUBE has three levels and 3x3 cubes per level. Each level has to be completed before cubes for the next level up can be placed.

Scoring: All 45 visible cube faces count in scoring. The underside does not count.

Awarding points: Each cube face scores one point.

A player is awarded one bonus point for each vertical, horizontal or diagonal row of three cubes of the same color. Violet and gray are neutral colors and DO NOT count in scoring.

End of the game: The game ends when both players have placed their last cube. The player with the higher points score wins. In a game that ends in a draw on points, the winner is the player who succeeded in making the last move.

Player 1 has the cube colors orange/yellow, player 2 has the cube colors pink/blue. Violet and gray are neutral colors

    FRITZO STRATEGIE TOWER/MIX
